Fun Festival Fashion

Hey there peeps I’m back! Did you miss me? Sorry for the extended hiatus, I’ve had quite a few major changes happening lately and I’m just now feeling like I’m getting back into the swing of things. Special thanks to those who took the time to ask if/when I was going to come out with a new post, it means more to me than you could know.

Alright now that the mushy/personal stuff is out of the way, on to more exciting and important fashion focused forethought! As I’m sure all of my Austin, TX readers know this is an incredibly HUGE weekend for music, fashion, and all around good times because The Austin City Limits Music Festival is finally here! I say finally like it didn’t completely sneak up on me. I’m so incredibly bummed that I won’t be attending this year but that won’t stop me for a second from covering all of the fun festival trends that are (luckily for you!) so perfectly trendy right now!

I’d like to start by saying this blog is special because it’s my first giveaway! That’s right; one of you lucky readers could enter up to 3 times to win a piece of Desert Flower Designers pieces of eccentric, handcrafted jewelry! Can you tell I’m pretty stoked? So let’s get down to the nitty gritty; what is Desert Flower Designers? What do they stand for? Why do you care?
One of Erica's pieces I've been sporting recently

My good friend Erica Alcocer has been making handcrafted, cruelty-free jewelry out of all recycled materials (along with her business partner Rylan) under the company name Desert Flower Designers and more than deserves a shout out. The company’s mantra is "To let nature guide us in our creations, to recycle what earth has given us, to use our gift to help others bring balance and harmony into their hearts." Each and every stone they incorporate has its own unique energy and every pressed insect wing, flower, sea shell, or feather used is a way to preserve and immortalize the beauty and grace of those once earth-bound creatures. The energy, creativity, and hard-work they put into their pieces are something to behold - and the added bonus? It’s all incredibly fashionable and affordable with all of their pieces falling in the $20-40 price range. Not only do they produce earthy items featuring beautiful feathers and stones, there are a ton of badass metal pieces, most of which I’m personally drawn to, that integrate everything from Dia de los Muertos-esque skulls to bullets. Every single piece made, no matter how delicate or pretty it may be, is incredibly durable and is designed to last as long as you do rocking out at ACL or wherever the wind takes you.

*Note: Although most of the models in the pictures are women most if not all of their pieces are gender neutral.

Desert Flower Designers offers everything from head pieces and body wraps to bracelet/hand pieces, earrings, and necklaces while also offering the option of custom made jewelry. Erica will be attending ACL on Friday fully equipped with and ready to sell many of their harmonious pieces and you can find her by following DesertFlowerDesigners on Instagram where she’ll be updating her location and pictures frequently and all day long.

3 tiered piece on left hand of model is the giveaway item!

If you’d like to win the three-tiered pewter hand piece featured above all you have to do is one or all of three things. 1. Go to the Desert Flower Designers Facebook page and like it (that’s one entry) B. Follow Desert Flower Designers on Instagram (that’s 2!!) and lastly, share the link I post to Facebook for this specific blog post. That’s three separate opportunities for you to enter to win one of Desert Flower Designers pieces that is sure to put the cherry on top of your fabulous festival fashion. The deadline is Saturday October 13th at 12 pm and I’ll be announcing the lucky winner at 12:30 pm. This giveaway is short and sweet, so get to following, liking, and sharing!

Now that I’ve given credit where credit is due let’s talk about clothing, shoes, and accessories regarding any music festival. Weather is obviously always a factor at any out-door event and I’ve given a few examples for cooler and wetter weather (just in case) for all of the following categories. Another thing you always want to take into account at an outdoor festival is that you don’t want to wear the most expensive or best materials that you own in your wardrobe, however appropriate and festival worthy they may be. YOU WILL GET DIRTY. Whether you like it or not it’s going to happen. Let’s just say it’s a beautiful semi-sunny day at the perfect temperature and there is lush green grass as far as the eye can see in every direction so sweat, dirt/mud, and rain aren’t even factors. There’s still a huge chance someone is going to accidentally spill beer on you or you’ll get food on yourself or any number of scenarios that could ruin/damage your clothing.

That being said let’s start with fun festival fashion tops! As I said before, luckily for you and I, festival fashion is incredibly trendy right now and can be found just about anywhere. A few basics that are always appropriate are bandeau tops (either by themselves or under a chiffon blouse), chiffon shirts, any and every kind of tank-top, anything crocheted, *your classic blue jean button up shirt, any kind of flannel patterned shirt/shirtdress, and a poncho (for cooler/wet weather). All of these can be paired with any of the bottoms I’ll be listing below not to mention over or under a dress.

Now for fun festival fashion bottoms, let me just say this is a little tricky. My go to trend for festival fashion bottoms right now, I’m sure you’ve guessed it, are the high-waisted extremely short cut-off shorts. There are a few body types who can really wear these and if you’re not one of them don’t waste your time or money trying to pull them off. Although I think they are incredibly cute and I love the idea, you’ll never catch me in them because I would look just….weird. Alternative are available, however, and look just as not cute if not more cute than a cut/look that doesn’t work for you body type if that may be the case. So, here are a few examples of bottoms one should gravitate towards for an out-door festival. Cut-off shorts (any color, any pattern, go crazy), maxi skirt (one length, hi-low, cotton, chiffon), skinny jeans (any and all patterns/colors), and I’m a huge fan of any type of leather bottom (shorts, skirt, leggings, etc…). The leather bottoms may be a little bit hot for 75 degree and above weather but as you’ll soon find out leather is going to be huge this fall/winter and it’ll be an item you can wear all season.

On to my favorite category, dresses! I love, love, love the idea of pairing a sweet, short, flowy, floral dress with biker/combat/bootie boots and would highly recommend it for this type of festival. The combination of hard and soft is really very beautiful and becoming. Having addressed that, basically any pattern is great (although I tend to be attracted to tribal/aboriginal, Native American blanket style, and floral prints regarding music festivals specifically) and the styles you want to look for are maxi, fly away skirts, and anything flowy.

And now my second favorite category, omg shoes! What’s the secret slime action word Bob? BOOTIES! They are the go to shoe for outdoor festivals and the whole fall/winter season in general. They do have a tendency, just like any shoe that cuts off at the ankle, to make your legs look short so keep that in mind. A few other shoes that I’m really diggin’ for festival wear are rain boots (just in case), oxfords, gladiator sandals, and of course any true hipster must have a pair of TOMS.

Last but certainly not least are accessories (not including jewelry obviously) and these are must haves! Tights; crazy colors, fish nets, holey tights, ect. Wear them under shorts or dresses and you’ll be looking funky fresh. Hats/Headwear; pretty much anything goes here but a true staple of festival fashion is the wool wide brimmed hat. It will keep the sun and rain out of your eyes and off your neck. Vests: blue jean, studded, different materials all are pretty fun and cute additions to any of the aforementioned items. Bags: probably the most important because you want to make sure you can fit all of your necessities inside while simultaneously feeling free and light. Style wise I’d go with a Native American blanket print or anything with fringe- very festival friendly.

I hope this helped and furthermore I hope everyone going to ACL this weekend has a blast! Good luck to all who enter to win, I can’t wait to reveal the lucky person this Saturday. As always know that confidence is key in whatever outfit you choose, and stay tuned for my next post on how to be the office fashionista!

And the winner is...

When to save and when to splurge won the poll! This is a topic that has been addressed rather frequently throughout the years with everyone having their own opinion on the subject, and here comes mine. It is my firm belief that one rule, tried and true, has and will prevail for eternity and that rule is this; Splurge on classic, or timeless, items & save on trendy, or seasonally fashionable, items. That’s it. It will literally never steer you wrong and believe me, I know there are times where you’re going to see an adorable/hot/ever so trendy garment or accessory that is WAY too expensive or maybe even just a little over priced that you’re going to want to buy. Don’t. Just don’t. There’s nothing worse than having something in your closet that you were only able to wear a total of three times before it went completely out of style and then feeling so incredibly guilty about how much you spent when you see it in the buy-one-get-one-for-a-penny rack on top of that. I’m here to advise you after making many mistakes of my own, do as I say not as I've done. On to specifics! I’ll be addressing four categories of women’s fashion on which one should save and splurge starting with Undergarments and including Apparel, Jewelry, and Shoes.

Undergarments

Undergarments, of all shapes and sizes, are items you should absolutely always splurge on. I’ve developed a pretty close relationship with undergarments but it formed completely out of necessity and it helped me realize that most girls/women are probably as clueless as I was until I was properly measured and educated on the subject. Time magazine reports that between 70-85% of women are walking around right now wearing the wrong size bra and it’s really not surprising. Most women don’t really give much thought to their undergarments unless they expect someone to see them so they assume that it doesn’t have a lot to do with how their clothes fit. Wrong! It not only majorly affects how your clothes fit and fall on your body but I guarantee it will directly affect your posture and confidence (ladies your bra cup is probably way bigger than you think!). Knowing that, I highly recommend that you find a legitimate lingerie store (if you’re as busty as I am Victoria’s Secret can’t help you; try Lane Bryant or Petticoat Fair) in which the staff knows how to properly measure you and give accurate suggestions. For the busty and thicker girls out there (holla!) something you’re going to have to come to grips with is that almost everything is going to be more expensive for you (more material for more coverage = more expensive) and you’re not going to have the same cutesy options as the smaller girls out there (pros and cons to every size). I promise once you find a bra, corset, undies, and/or body enhancer that makes you feel like the best version of yourself the expense will be worth it because that feeling is priceless.

Tops/Outerwear

Apparel includes tops/blouses, bottoms/skirts, and dresses with each sub-category including its very own save and splurge items. When referencing any of the aforementioned items one simply needs to follow my golden rule. Classic tops/blouses every woman should splurge on include a plain button up shirt in whatever color you like best (I suggest a neutral color for any classic items you're going to splurge on; black, white, grey, or khaki), a tailored blazer, a trench coat, a cashmere sweater (something in a festive color to get maximum use during the winter season), and a sequin occasion shirt*(gold is my personal favorite).

Save shirts

Here are items that you should also absolutely have in your closet but you don’t have to break the bank on because they are produced in mass quantity and can be found just about anywhere; a denim button-up shirt(I have this exact one from Target), any plaid button-up shirt, V-neck T-shirts or tank tops (celebrities may spend $100 on a paper thin tank top but that’s ridiculous and you can find one that looks exactly the same for a mere $12), and cardigans (Target has at least 20 different embellished, classic cardigans every winter, take your pick!).
*When purchasing items with sequins or beading that can easily take a quick right turn in to Tackyville it is important to splurge and find a well made classic piece.

Splurge bottoms

When looking for classic pants, shorts, or skirts that are okay to splurge on it is important to remember cut over color/pattern. Every body type can rock a different cut(s) of pants which makes this area of shopping extremely personal. Don’t let how retailers/designers choose to size your clothes get you down, until they're sizing by the exact number of inches our hips are none of it has any real meaning about your size. Everyone should, however, know what works and what doesn’t before  going on the hunt for a garment it’ll save you a lot of time and self-esteem in the long run. So after you discover what cut/fit looks best for your body type here are the items you should splurge on; trousers (for the working woman at least two pair in black and grey), the perfect pair of jeans (7 for all mankind or if you purchase them at The Buckle they’ll do complementary in-house alterations such as hemming and cinching), a pair of khaki’s (shorts, pants, or both), and a leather skirt*(either black or dark, dark green).

*Once again it’s so easy to look tacky when wearing certain faux materials so this one is definitely a splurge.

Bottoms, skirts, and shorts to save on are; bandage skirts (they’re everywhere!), skinny jeans (in every color), faux leather leggings (surprisingly don’t look all that faux), leggings/tights, and summer shorts (neon colors, fun patters, frayed all over the place).

Splurge dresses

The dress is my favorite element of fashion. I thoroughly enjoy buying one item and literally getting a whole outfit. The first dress I would like to reference is of course the little black dress. This rule is beaten into our brains at such an early age and most women have it in their closets already (if you don't get on it!). So besides the obvious little black dress here are some other pieces you should splurge on when dress shopping;  an illusion dress (every woman needs one), a little red dress (the lusty cousin of the classy little black dress), and a leopard dress ( I say splurge on this because the cheaper the dress and fabric the closer you get to looking like a lady of the night when it comes to animal print).

Save dresses

The dresses you should save on include the bandage dress (again they're everywhere!), a maxi dress, a cut-out dress (if you can wear it appropriately), a hi-low dress, and any daytime dress that will get  a lot of wear.

Splurge Shoes

Shoes, my second love and mistress, have a hold on me. I can't stop, won't stop, buying them and I've never regretted a single pair. I've never regretted a single pair because I have a set of go to classic heels, boots, and athletic shoes while maintaining a healthy recycling system with the trendy pairs. Shoes are a little tricky because most people won't splurge on a pair of well made, real leather shoes because they don't think it makes a difference in how their foot will feel or they're unsure of the enduring quality. Unfortunately you can't know this, and believe me you will be able to immediately, if you don't ever splurge on a pair. These are shoes I recommend you splurge on; classic black heel (you'll wear it everywhere), nude heel (interchangeable with black), one or two pairs of boots (I have to have one black and one brown and you'll find out why in the near future*), Sperry Top Siders (you'll only need one pair ever if you're around the lake or water seasonally), athletic shoes (if applicable to your life, you're paying for quality and comfort not style keep that in mind)

save shoes

Again save on any and all trendy shoes. For example I'm obsessed with studs & spikes on my shoes but cannot afford Christian LouBoutin's so I'm absolutely going to try and find an imitation spiked heel or boot for cheap elsewhere. No shame, I'm not claiming they're Loub's I really just want some spikes man!

splurge jewelry

Now, last and certainly not least, for jewelry. Old reliable comes into play again here; splurge on classic save on trendy. I grew up with my Mom always wearing silver jewelry (it compliments her skin tone best) and from an early age any momentous occasion would be marked with a small piece of James Avery jewelry. Of course I lost a lot of those pieces before I even hit middle school, parents don't waste your money on child jewelry unless they can't take it off, but every holiday I would get to wear my jewelry and it helped me to understand that silver was a precious metal that was meant only for special occasions and "big girls". From that day on it's been a firm belief of mine that every woman needs a nice set of jewelry that they should splurge on and everything else should be under $15. My mom and I are very fair skinned and silver always looks good but because my tone has a little more pink and gold in it I can also wear gold rather well. Once you've figured out what you like best on yourself find a timeless set and splurge! I also highly recommend that every woman have a set of pearls, just one piece, that is pulled out for special occasions and can eventually be handed down to a daughter or granddaughter. Since pearls can get pretty expensive I recommend buying just a necklace or just earrings and then putting the matching pieces on a birthday or holiday wish list.

save jewelry

As I mentioned before, any item of jewelry you save on should be under $15 but I sometimes cheat. I've definitely spent more than $15 on a piece that looked like it was worth at least $40 and that's how I justify it haha.*Do as I say not as I've done. It's really all about you, your priorities, and your budget. Any trendy jewelry (feathers, Aztec design, neon colored, dream catcher, chunky stone, or fake gems) I buy is usually to match something specifically and just like the garment I plan to pair it with, it will go out of style which is why you want to save on these kinds of items. I highly recommend checking out Sam Moon but make sure you've got at least a couple hours to get lost in this amazing accessory store.

I hope this was helpful to everyone and a special thank you to those that voted in the poll, please vote in the new one! Have a fabulous week everyone, talk to ya soon <3

Austin Aficionado

I realize this post is a little late in the week and am therefore extending the time ya'll have to vote in the poll, yay! haha Monday's post will address the winning classic fashion question, which would you like to know more about?
Anywho, onward and upward! Anyone who knows me knows how big a fan I am of my city Austin, Texas! One of the many appealing things about my beloved city is the large variety of activities, concerts, and shows that are available on a daily/ nightly basis at such an affordable price. Last weekend was incredibly packed with fun events and ample opportunities for fun fashion spotting starting with the Mascara Monologues segment I recorded for the Kim Iversen Show on Thursday. Fashion has always involved quite a bit of thought for me so I was relieved to see that Miss Iversen and I were on the same wave length when it came to our attire for that evening as we both chose to wear a flowing maxi dress. I realized that the only people who would even see my outfit were the six people in the studio (and of course all of you lovely people <3) and that I would be sitting for about an hour making it essential that my outfit be cute, presentable, and moreover extremely comfortable.

I went with an ELLE maxi dress I’d purchased from Kohl’s at least a couple of years ago (the print and style is classic and this dress will last another 2-3 years, at least). I paired the dress with an Orange skinny belt from Cotton On (the belt was sold in a set of three: pink, orange, and turquoise) and a pair of orange Ralph Lauren Jellies (originally priced at $200, got them on sale for $30 at DSW!) For my lips I chose Kat VonD’s Painted Love Lipstick in A-Go-Go, and for nail color “Are We There Yet?” nail polish by OPI.

Next up was the Glass Candy + Chromatics + Orthy + Flying Turns DJ’s show at the Austin, TX venue Mohawk on Friday. It was a completely last minute decision to tag along with a group of friends who had purchased their tickets for only $13!

Well needless to say I couldn’t resist and by 9 PM I was sweating, singing, and dancing the night away amongst a beautifully weird crowd of people. I usually like to plan ahead for events so that I can get the perfect outfit together but this was just too good an opportunity to pass up on account of garment perfection, or lack thereof. Given the time I would have selected my ensemble by considering the type of music; in this case I would have preferred to wear something that more closely resembled a highlighter.

Instead, I threw on an outfit that just screams summer (White lace shirt from NordstromRack, pink tank top from Target, mint/ turquoise shorts from Charlotte Russe, peanut butter purse & shoes from A’gaci Too, and both Sally Hansen in Mint Sorbet & OPI in My Address is “Hollywood” by OPI on my nails), braided my bangs back, and proceeded to Mohawks to bask in all of the glory that live shows have to offer. Predictably so, I encountered some amazing concert attire and was lucky enough to have met incredibly nice people (although everyone in Austin is like that <3) that they allowed me to share their style with you all.

The fun thing about live shows, and really Austin in general, is that people appreciate the bazaar and unique. Everyone who was in attendance had such fun, different, and exciting personal styles and not one of those people had a nasty thought or look to give to someone who didn’t match their specific vision. I wish I could have grown up closer to downtown than in the ‘burbs of North West Austin but being a mere 30 minute drive away didn’t stop me from enjoying what downtown Austin has to offer for long. Here are some examples of outfits I've worn to past shows and festivals.

Sunday was my Bff’s BIL B-Ry’s birthday party at EmmaLong Park. I wore a Navy blue tank top with orange & blue patterned shorts, and a pale pink watch all from Target. I paired my outfit with the same Ralph Lauren jellies I mentioned earlier, a Nine West coral colored purse on sale from Steinmart, and the coolest sunglasses (also in pale pink) I've ever seen or owned purchased from Charlotte Russe for $5.

We chilled in the shade of an incredibly old and gracious tree while listening to Ghost Land Observatory, The Toadies, and Tenacious D. The manly men grilled some delicious hot dogs, chicken, and hamburger patties while everyone else swam in Lake Austin and watched the babies play. Aside from some random teenagers stopping by to ask if we had any weed (they were asking every single person on the shore haha what?!) the perfect ending to a beautiful day was met with an impromptu game of sand volleyball. I’ll say this; It’s not the most conventional cure for a hangover, but it did me wonders.

I’m so incredibly thankful to be able to call myself an OG Austinite. I have my city, family, and weird friends to thank for my ability to appreciate the eccentric in life and my hope for everyone is that one day you’ll be able to live truly weird without a care. Here's a Rosie picture to get you through til the next post, my princess is also fabulously fashionable while being body-type burdened:)

Also, the second segment of the Mascara Monologues segment I recorded on The Kim Iversen Show aired Tuesday July, 31st, at 10 Pm Central on the fm radio station Mix 94.7. Personal Style is a Journey

Hello all and welcome to my fabulous fashion blog! I’m brand new at this and learning every day so I really appreciate your patience and support while I figure out this new and exciting blog world. The obvious question is, why fashion? I, myself, have had a long and arduous journey when it comes to finding my own sense of style and I find that it’s still evolving with every changing season. Having a somewhat unique body type has only added to the challenges I was predestined to face. My mother affectionately calls herself fashion handicapped and I, affectionately, have to agree. Looking back, I'll admit, she knew what she was doing when it came to cute little girl clothing. She laughingly recalls that I was in kindergarten the year I stopped allowing her to pick my outfits for school.

“I told you that doesn’t match and you defiantly responded, 'I don’t care, I’m wearing it!'” -Mom

I'm sure she was shaking her head in frustration as I walked away wearing a pair of leopard print spandex and a sleeveless purple shirt with tiny rosettes lining the collar. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: Fashion is a journey. From the age of six and onward I made it clear to my mom that it was to be my complete responsibility to figure out how I was going to be dressed, how my hair looked, and eventually learning which makeup to use and how to apply it appropriately. I say this with complete and utter confidence to every woman I have never met; if I can do it so can you.

Very true to nature, I went to school that fateful leopard-print spandex day and found out what it felt like to be ridiculed for my first attempt at self expression by the cute, popular girls who just so happened to have no problem figuring out what colors, textures, and cuts looked fabulous at age six. Although I was absolutely devastated by the fact that these girls who I so desperately wanted to be friends with didn’t want to be my friend all because of what I was wearing, I learned a valuable social lesson that day. What you wear reflects who you are and people, whether consciously or subconsciously, will judge who you are based on what you choose to wear on your body.

I continued my fashion journey through elementary school by briefly assuming the ever so flattering leggings, a sweater, and Ked's look before giving up completely and simply copying those who were making fun of me. My smug logic being, “They can’t make fun of what I’m wearing if they have the same thing hanging in their own closet.” Believing I had it all figured out, I was again disappointed when I was criticized for being a copy cat and went home with another lesson under my belt. Copying someone’s outfit exactly isn’t having style, it’s lazy and unoriginal. I would come to learn that adopting and adapting looks that you find appealing is the only way to ensure your individuality and comfort, you’ll feel and look better for it.

In middle school I would simply follow some of my Mom’s tried and true rules such as; Find something that looks good and buy it in every color or stick to solid colors and I would basically get my outfit ideas straight off the manikins in the department stores. By eighth grade I was ready to try on a new rebel attitude and began hanging with and dressing like the skateboarders at our school. Etnies, Dickies, anything from Pac Sun, and any t-shirt from the boy section in Wal-Mart were my chosen threads. It didn’t matter if my outfit matched perfectly or where it was from and for the first time I remember thinking, “Finally, I can start building friendships instead of a wardrobe.” Soon after that I met a sweet punk boy rocking a Mohawk and a kilt who would not only change my life forever but, would influence my sense of fashion in a way that I never thought possible.

My freshman year of high school I made the cheerleading squad and began to really understand why school uniforms are so much easier. I now have a California King sized quilt made out of all of my  high school-spirit T-shirts that I would wear at least 3 out of the 5 days a week all the way through Sophomore year. I also began to mature in my style choices. Instead of shopping in the boy section of Wal-Mart I was frequenting Wet Seal, and Charlotte Russe. To my relief girls had finally stopped picking on me and started asking to borrow my clothes! It was an incredibly carefree couple of years and then the bottom fell out when, for the first and last time in my life, I let a man (really more like a boy at that age) completely control how I looked and felt about myself.

I began shopping at stores like Abercrombie& Fitch and Aeropostale, both of which made me feel like I was too fat to even walk into at an absolutely average size eight (maybe it was the gorgeous super models standing at the entrance just to make you feel inadequate). After that relationship ended and I found myself on the other end of an identity crisis, it seemed like my only fashion oriented goal was to simply avoid persecution by frumpy teachers who seemed to come to school looking to send me to the principal’s office for breaking dress code (puberty had left me with a 40 inch bust line and I had cleavage even in a t-shirt). Fortunately, I found myself being drawn to theater and, eventually, the costume design class my theater teacher offered where I learned that fashion is so much more than what’s trendy, it is a form of self expression unlike any other (second only to art and tattoos).

I told you that to tell you this (one more time). Fashion is a journey, it is okay if you don’t know your fashion identity yet a ton of people don’t, mine is ever-changing, and lucky for you I’m here to help!  I’m compiling all of my experiences, opinions, and knowledge on the subject to help those in need because fashion should be used for good, not evil! I want to focus all of my energy on building every woman’s confidence in fashion whether it’s picking the right cut for any body-type, what hairstyle to wear with your “too-cute-not-to-have-a-matching-cute-hairstyle” outfit, or simply which color pallet makes you glow. As I mentioned before, because I have a “unique” body type -from the front I’m a capital letter V from the side a capital letter P- I have had A TON of practice in making what all designers intend for the runway work for you walking down your driveway. In closing just know that, very much as in life, in fashion you have to make mistakes to grow and you can’t make a mistake without a little risk. Sometimes what you think will break you turns out to be your big break. So I encourage you to take risks, try to use your knowledge for good and don’t criticize those less aware, and have fun because otherwise, what is the point?!

Thanks for checking out my first blog! To get a better idea of who I am and what I believe check me out on Mix 94.7 FM tonight at 9:30pm and again on Tuesday at 10pm or just go to the Kim Iverson Show website where a podcast will be available. I'll be a part of a panel of women called the Mascara Monologues, happy listening <3
